Bambi, our 1 year old 10 pound chihuahua mix, is possibly mixed with a rat terrier. She is definitely mixed with something that has springs for legs; a kangaroo maybe. Bambi is likely mixed with a rabbit - she is bunny-soft, both fur-wise and personality-wise. We are also pretty sure it doesn't matter; she's just a very good little dog who needs a great home.

Found stray and injured, we took Bambi in to help her heal her wounds. It appears as though something had bitten her - she's too polite to tattle so we won't know for sure. She healed from those wounds (and her spay) and hasn't looked back.

Bambi loves all people, other dogs, and cats. She is good with kids and is gentle. Bambi thrives having a wide collection of toys - some for shaking, some for squeaking, some for tossing. Having access to another dog to play with would be ideal.

Bambi is good in a crate and is quiet. Bambi likes having someone around most of the time and has a little separation anxiety- she just seems really sad when she sees her person is leaving. She is great on a leash, doesn't mind the car, and is very up for adventures. Bambi loves to please her people and easily gets her feelers hurt if she disappoints someone.

Bambi is heartworm negative and is current on her flea and heartworm preventatives.
